Lets talk about Sex...
As adults we all know that the topic of Sex is a taboo & no one really wants to talk about it, but we should because from butt plugs to bondage, the world of Sex has grown in the last 20 yrs and the younger generation are being exposed to higher expectations than ever before!
Shannon runs Enrich RSE ; a provider who is proud to deliver education that reflects good practice guidance within Sex Education. RSE should provide an opportunity for exploration, expression, reflection and the important opportunity to dispel the (all too common) myths that can make the distinct differences between healthy and unrealistic expectations around sex.
Shannon is hugely passionate about delivering tailor-made RSE packages and workshops which work with & support Young People in this invaluable subject area.
If you would like to find out more on how Enrish RSE could support you & your young person follow Shannon - https://enrich-rse.co.uk/about-shannon/ or @Enrich_rse on Instagram

The Beautiful Minds Podcast - Miscarriage Happens

Miscarriage Happens

The Beautiful Minds Podcast

05/14/21 • 42 min

For women who know they're pregnant, approx 10 to 15 in 100 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Most miscarriages happen in the first trimester before the 12th week of pregnancy, Miscarriage in the second trimester (between 13 and 19 weeks) happens in 1 to 5 in 100 pregnancies.
After getting married in 2014 Sara fell pregnant with her son & was over the moon to be carrying but always wanted 2 children. In 2020 her & husband decided it was time to start trying again; Unfortunately things didn’t go as planned. After 2 miscarriages, Sara was in a very dark place. She couldn’t face seeing anyone, didn’t go work or do very much at all. However, the one thing that kept her going was her small business, which she started pre Covid-19; https://www.saramaxcreations.com/
Having a miscarriage is hard for anyone to experience but Sara found that talking about her journey was the only way she could get through such a dark time.

Who doesn't love to doodle?
Doodling is like a mind dump. A drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Popular doodles include cartoon versions of teachers (defiantly did this) or famous TV or comic characters, landscapes, geometric shapes, patterns, textures, or even phallic scenes!
Meet Amy from @Loveto_doodle. She is a creative genius, who's mind totally baffles me.
In a matter of weeks Amy will be stretching her creative force into the community of Portsmouth & Southsea. With the help of a group of local volunteers, Murals are being painted at 6 local venues.
The @loveto_doodlecommunity has been set up to encourage, inspire and share creative arts with young teens 15-19yrs old and Adults with Learning Disabilities. As a MH Professional I know first hand that Art is a huge positive form of therapy and with a big MH focus since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, now more than ever we need to inspire everyone to keep a positive mindset and build creative outlets.
Thank you to Amy & her colourful mind for giving the community this opportunity & reconnecting us with our creativities.
