It seems that there is more division of late on our planet. People are angry and hurt. Since the pandemic, we’ve all been asked to change and pivot directions, even though we may not know exactly where we are heading. It seems that more people than ever are searching for answers. Lisa continues the conversation today with Steve Farrell, Co-founder & Worldwide Director of Humanity's Team, a global nonprofit organization helping people everywhere awaken to our interconnectedness through platforms such as their new Humanity Stream+ streaming service. They give away a free subscription for every paid subscription.

Steve talks about his latest book, “A New Universal Dream,” which is a true story of how he grew up with 6 siblings and a single mom in a small house. Eleven years later he is in the heart of success of Silicon Valley, then finds himself in the middle of the consciousness conversation.

They discuss how channelers and mediums say one person standing in the light can affect millions in the dark. Buddha and Christ are examples of this. Mediums teach energy work and Steve found a process of the daily practice of meditation and at least 3 times a day just tunes in to the love and light of universal intelligence, pure love. With all the challenges of the world, there is support for people in their journey to consciousness. We can have a new, awake world. A daily practice of meditation and mindfulness can carry energy throughout the day. It is possible to bring your level of light out to the world, whether meditation, or a walk, or just a moment in which you can brighten someone else’s day.

Steve also talks about the “New Spirituality” and the deep understanding that we are spiritual beings. We are approaching a Tipping Point. After Covid, people are looking for a better way to live a life. We must elevate our consciousness. Through meditation and mindful acts, we can all connect to guides and angels and talk with them to get answers.

So many people are still experiencing low-level frequencies of early childhood trauma. We are reacting to this. But there is a way to operate through connectedness and consciousness. Self-compassion is key. Be in the possibility. The inside doesn’t get healed until we take time for self-compassion. This is Part 2 of the interview. Would you like to stop your cravings for sugar? Do you feel you need to strengthen your willpower? Have you tried everything to lose weight and feel fit including exercise, meal plans, diets, and more? Maybe you’ve tried, but do you know how your unconscious mind is really the one in control? Many of us love sugar – it’s a comfort food and makes us feel good. But, it really can be toxic. Today’s guest Rena Greenberg approaches health from the subconscious perspective. She is an expert in hypnosis and her Gastric Bypass Hypnosis method has been taught in hospitals for more than 30 years. She is a trained biofeedback therapist and renowned hypnotherapist, whose program called Easy Willpower transforms the way patients think about food, by tapping into the power of the subconscious mind. Today she discusses her “Sugar Divorce” program and how to eliminate the cravings. She is the author of several books, including "The Right Weigh" and "The Easy Sugar Break Up." Throughout millennia, human beings worldwide have asked why must there be so much suffering. With the pandemic, wars, climate change, shifting financial markets, and so much more, we may be asking ourselves, how can we get through this and how can we help in this time of world crisis? Must we always have crisis before we experience evolution? Our guests today, NYT best-selling author of “Happy for No Reason” Marci Shimoff and scholar, philosopher, and researcher Jean Houston, Ph.D, delve into the idea of finding possibility, even in the face of deep suffering

Jean is a foremost visionary in the field of human potential, and she asks us to recognize that we are in the midst of an evolutionary shift in consciousness. These crisis points occur just prior to humanity making major revolutionary leaps. Marci discusses Einstein’s famous quote which asks if the universe is benevolent, while Jean shares a personal story of her relationship with psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl. They further discuss how there is an unconditional place of peace and well-being, even in the midst of immense suffering.

Jean believes we are in a renaissance period now and although we’ve experienced the pandemic, wars, and scenes of outrage, we’ve also seen the linking of hearts, which is indeed the gestation period of a New Humanity. People want peace worldwide. We can do this by accessing the very depths of the human spirit which is available to all of us. This is the first of a two-part discussion. How do you deal with angry feelings when things go wrong? Do you sometimes think that God is to blame? Is it possible to pray when you are upset and hurt? Lisa continues the conversation today with radio host, best-selling author, and Episcopalian Deacon Ian Punnett as he shares ways to express your rawest emotions through prayer, as described in his book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.”

Ian talks about anger in a societal aspect and how it’s even portrayed in gender. He discusses an emphasis in how women are taught to “accept things” and “not be too loud.” This mutes their own voice because of expectations. If things are going wrong, prayer can actually keep you going so you can express your feelings. Ian talks about a simple 3-step method: Name it – What is really bothering you? Proclaim it – Give it voice in detail. Then, Reframe it. He talks about giving anger space and not reacting right away.

Ian also talks about prayer and religion, as well as meditation and visualization. He explains ways to express anger and how, in certain circumstances, it is fine to do so. We have a poor understanding of the role of anger; we don’t teach it, and we don’t know how to be constructively and responsibly angry. The model is in the Bible. Ian explains how there are Psalms and Hymns about anger, and he discusses the work he has done as a chaplain in the hospital with people who are very angry about their situations. He talks about addressing it, as suppressed anger can eventually lead to depression. If we feel like we are being hurt, we can pray about it.

Ian Punnett is one of the hosts of Coast to Coast AM, a legendary radio show syndicated on more than 600 stations across North America. He received his Ph.D. from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and served as a professor and chief operator of the award-winning KSDB–FM at Kansas State University. He is a deacon in the Episcopal Church and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has worked in radio since he was 14 years old, at the high school radio station, then as a nighttime DJ at a Chicago station during college. He also worked at stations in Nashville, Atlanta, and Minneapolis/St Paul. After experiencing tinnitus, he was forced to step down from radio and during many sleepless nights, he wrote the book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.” This is Part 2 of the interview. Do you sometimes not know how to communicate with a loved one? Do you argue with your partner or feel like they are not listening to you? Whether in family and friend relationships, or in romantic relationships, there is a way to respond with more compassion and care. Our guest today is Corey Lyon Folsom, a highly regarded love and relationship coach and the author of his new book, “Soul Statements: A Love Coach's Guide to Successful Communication.” As a certified NLP practitioner and relationship coach, Corey is passionate about helping people expand their empathy and communication skills. After a spiritual soul-awakening in 2009, Corey participated in Ipsalu, Source School of Tantra Yoga, Love Coach Academy, Tony Robbins, and other programs. He has also been a professional tracker, wilderness guide, and vision quest leader. Corey offers tips and ideas to have much smoother, clearer communication in all of our relationships. When someone is complaining or expressing having a hard time, he suggests really listening to what they have to say. Make the other person’s pain valid and try to not react immediately. This will help them feel heard. In order to do this, it’s important to listen to yourself first. Corey talks about “filling your own emotional well.” You can do this by spending quiet time alone, having a strong workout, or visiting nature. It’s important to take time to listen to your own heart. This will help us feel calm and find strength in our center. He also describes “Soul Statements,” what they mean, and how to develop your own. This will help with compassionate communication. Sometimes partners argue and money and finances can be especially challenging. He suggests people go back to their own values, as this gets below the outer circumstances. You can relate more easily when someone is not pointing the finger. Get to the emotions of what’s being felt. We can try to understand our impact on other people. Tell them how you feel, rather than placing blame on them. He talks about non-violent communication and the range of feelings. Corey also touches upon caregiver fatigue and how it’s very common. He asks us to ask, “How can I bring more compassion?” He also talks about the idea of giving and receiving. He suggests pausing before going into an event and spending a few minutes beforehand to ask what you can bring to the conversation. Then, afterward, you can do the same and ask yourself what worked and what didn’t in your communications. He talks about writing Soul Statements and making them personal. How can you move beyond tension? How can you meet someone new and not have the same challenges as you do with others? Corey also suggests going on a “complaint fast” and taking a week or longer and not expressing complaints out loud. If you feel them, be mindful. To be a better communicator, it’s important to be clear. Be authentic in your communications. Don’t share all of your concerns at once but be concise. Soul Statements are present time reminders. Traditional affirmations express a desired state. This calls in a future version of ourselves. A Soul Statement reminds you of what is true and good. When you have unhelpful thoughts like, “I’m not sure,” or “I don’t think I can,” you can do a Soul Statement like “My heart is a trusted guide,” or “There is strength in my center.” When you feel it, it’s so powerful. You feel the truth of it, and you remind yourself of your own strength. “Wisdom is at my center,” and “In my center, I am held in love,” are great ways to start using Soul Statements. They also talk about an owl feather that Lisa found on her recent bike ride and the profound wisdom of nature. They discuss the importance of silence, so that you can hear your soul. Bringing that to the relationship will further deepen communication. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: CoreRelationship.com

Are you having health challenges? Do you feel overweight and want to feel more fit? Lisa continues the conversation today with Master Teacher and Executive Coach Chris Howard. He's been in the field of transformation for more than two decades and now he has integrated AI technology into his teachings. He shares his excitement and talks about ways to gain a renewed sense of possibility by reframing and seeing things in a different way. Whether it’s issues with health, business, relationships, finances, or any other challenges, Chris teaches how positive change can happen rapidly and powerfully.

Chris is currently writing a book called “Your Super Conscious” in which he examines his research of how we determine our reality and how we can find so much more potential, especially when we incorporate AI, which he calls, “Augmented Intelligence.” He also talks about esoteric study and how it looks at the similarities in human consciousness. Mystery schools and rituals can help you to navigate the world. With Augmented Intelligence, it brings possibilities into the conversation. It moves from fear-based to hope. This augmentation of intelligence brings out greater wisdom to enrich and expand our model of the world. Chris invites us to ask, “What’s possible?” We can move powerfully into a new reality, if we so choose, by beginning to shift our imagination and consciousness. When you shift your understanding, you can begin to move forward and take command of challenges. This is Part 2 of the interview.
