In episode 28 of The Astrology Of... Podcast, we wrap up our series on Jennette McCurdy, child star and NY Times best selling author of the memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died. Laurel and Dani take a look at the astrology timelines and transits that were present during three pivotal points in Jennette's life, including the day she was casted for iCarly, her mother's death date, and the publication date of her book.
- Compliments of a very auspicious Jupiter/Mars/Mercury configuration on Jennette's Midheaven, December 11th, 2006 was quite a lucky day, when she received the call that she had been casted as Sam on the soon to be hit Nickelodeon series, iCarly.
- After years of "dress rehearsals," Jennette's mother Deb succumbed to her cancer on September 20, 2013. The energy was complicated, dramatic, and incredibly heavy, thanks to joint forces of Saturn and Venus creating a polarizing effect on Jennette's natal Mars.
- August 9th, 2022 was a day that marked a pivot point in Jennette's personal journey and healing. I'm Glad My Mom Died was published, becoming an instant best seller, but more importantly than that, placing a spotlight on how far she's come in taking accountability for herself through her chosen creative outlets.

Jennette McCurdy Pt. 2: Sexy, Sexy Sextiles
In episode 27 of The Astrology Of... Podcast, we dive deep into the astrology of child star and NY Times best selling author, Jennette McCurdy. Laurel and Dani analyze Jennette's birth chart, and uncover the cosmic blueprint that built a path to success and fortune through pain and discipline. We talk a lot about Jennette's relationship with her overbearing mother, and how that oppressive connection showed up in her birth chart.
- Jennette's Sun was in Cancer in the 6th house, and conjunct her Venus, making work a labor of love, but also mixing up some of the duties of care with the act of nurture.
- We talk about the opposition between Jennette's Sun and her Uranus, a chaotic, erratic, and disruptive aspect that can lead to ample amounts of creativity and originality, but creates an abundance of upheavals and difficulties on the road to self expression.
- Jennette's poor Moon in Taurus was caught in an incredibly tense T-Square aspect with her chart ruler, power house Saturn in Aquarius conjunct her Ascendent, and in a intense opposition to Pluto. Let's just say the level of constraint and extremity was set to high.
- We chat about Jennette's beautiful combination of positive aspects, including some sexy sextiles from Mars, Venus, and Jupiter, and a few trines to boot to activate an admirable amount of enterprising energy.
- Lastly, we hit discuss Jennette's unaspected Mercury in Leo and the quest to find her voice, which we think she's totally aced.
