PODCAST SUMMARY: Join Alexa for an in-depth discussion on gender wellness with her special guest Will Spencer, the founder of men’s wellness group The Renaissance of Men.
Will talks about his own healing journey that cured him of the trauma he had developed in childhood. He outlines how he was able to reset his relationship with his father and use his experiences of travel, therapy, and male support groups to change his perception of himself and his place in the world.
Alexa and Will then discuss what male wellness should look like in today’s society and speculate on the reasons why we’re so intent on tearing men down. They dive into how we can balance out the interests of the majority and minority groups and share different visions of the services that could be provided in male wellness centers. Later in the episode, they describe the potential benefits for future generations who grow up with a strong, healthy, male role model in the household.

PODCAST SUMMARY: How can you build a life that you love living when you’re starting from a disadvantaged place? On this episode of The Transformational Wellness Podcast, Alexa talks to poet and author Rich Hataway about how he grew from his humble background to build a life he loves living.
Rich tells Alexa about how he spent his childhood years with his grandfather in rural Alabama and how it was all ripped from him when his dad came back into his life and picked him up to move to a town. Rich and Alexa swap some of their difficult childhood experiences and explain how their circumstances made it harder for them to pursue their passions.
Rich then recounts the story of how he rediscovered his love of writing and followed the path that got him to publish his own collection of poems. He also gives advice to others who want to share their content online.
