A record 77 Indigenous candidates are seeking office in the 2021 federal election. We invite three of them to discuss their priorities. The Green Party's Lorraine Rekmans is a candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes; Chippewas Kettle and Stony Point First Nation Chief Jason Henry is an NDP candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex; and Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux, chair of truth and reconciliation at Lakehead University, is a Liberal candidate for Simcoe North.
