March Is Madness | Episode 47 | The 317 Sports Project
After a small hiatus (due to Penn havin' some medical issues), the boys re back with a super dope Episode. "March Is Madness" is slightly different from them typical format as they focus on the upcoming March Madness Tournament. They discuss each region, their expectations, upset alerts and their Final Four picks. Penn thinks the Auburn Tigers are poised for a National Championship run while Pops thinks UConn will be the 1st "Back to Back" National Champions since the Florida Gators of 2006 & 2007.
During "Naptown News," Penn & Pops discuss the Pacers' as they head into the end of the regular season. At the beginning of the season, hey stated the Pacers would win 45 games and they're right on track. Penn thinks they'll end right on 45 and Pops has 'em winning 8 of their last 14 to finish with 46 wins. They agree that Tyrese Haliburton is in a 3 point shooting slump and Pascal is carryin' the squad. Hopefully, the upcoming NBA Playoffs will wake Tyrese up as they get ready for their 1st playoff appearance since 2019 (when they were swept in the 1st round... AGAIN.)
