12/08/21 • 65 min
With Medvedev and Rublev leading the way, Joel and Kim reflect on Russia’s win against Croatia in the Davis Cup Final as well as looking ahead to the 2022 edition which sees Great Britain back in the Finals with a 2nd Wildcard in 3 years. They also look ahead to the ATP Cup at the start of 2022 and whether Team Russia will be able to win a second team title in the space of a month or so.
Joel and Kim also reflect on the news that the WTA have suspended all tournaments in China for the foreseeable future as a result of the Peng Shuai case and they bid a fond farewell to Britain’s Johanna Konta who has announced her retirement from professional tennis.
