T.A.R. Life with Top Producing Agent Erica Anderson - Wildlife Removal - When Nature Finds YOUR Home

Wildlife Removal - When Nature Finds YOUR Home

T.A.R. Life with Top Producing Agent Erica Anderson

In this episode, we talk with Jennifer Stewart about our recent trip to Greece. Our trip to Santorini, Greece was truly a magical experience. The island's breathtaking scenery, with its iconic white-washed buildings perched atop towering cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea, is a feast for the eyes. The vibrant blue domed churches add pops of color to the already stunning landscapes. We also share some fun stories of some "trouble" we got into along the way.

We also speak with Austin Tate. He is the biologist and owner of Wild Science Solutions, and he's here to talk to us about the things that he removes and answers some questions that he may or may not be able to answer. We ask him to share some crazy critter stories.

Real estate agents and wildlife removal companies can work together effectively to ensure that properties are safe, attractive, and habitable for potential buyers. Wildlife removal companies can help to address any wildlife intrusions, such as squirrels or raccoons in the attic, or snakes in the yard, that may deter potential buyers. Real estate agents can then promote the fact that the property has been professionally inspected and cleared of any wildlife issues, making it a more attractive option. By partnering together, both real estate agents and wildlife removal companies can offer a complete package to their clients, ensuring a smooth and successful transaction.

Second Homes Stories & a Storybook Trip to Ireland

We talk about our five day trip to Ireland with where we stayed in a castle. We talked about what we were expecting and our favorite parts of the trip. The fun and chaos of driving on the opposite side of the road, rental car mix ups, and stories of a wonderful stay in a beautiful country and topics for this show. Don't kiss the Blarney Stone!

We talk about Melody's round house property that she renovated completely and Erica's house in the mountains on Lake James, and property on the beach. A lot of people in the Triangle already own or dream of owning a beach or mountain house. We get into the nitty gritty about the ins and outs of mountain and beach second homes in North Carolina.

We dealt with foundation issues, pink 1970s bathrooms, 1980s panels, topping trees for an ideal view, carpet in the bathrooms, extreme weather because of elevation, the challenges of renovating a property that is hours from your main residence, finding local contractors, metal roofs, and more.

It's so important to find trusted vendors which can be challenging when the property is so far away from your network. The home inspector on Erica's beach house wrote "Home may fall down" on the inspection. That was a first! We also talk about dealing with what beach front homeowners in North Carolina call the CAMA Police. We also discuss some tips for turning your mountain or beach house into a profitable short-term rental.
