2020 has been an unusual and difficult year for many, and we understand that the full repercussions of what we have all been through are still to be felt - but with summer waning and the glory of Autumn still to come, we continue with a healthy amount of discussion on some of our favourite horticultural topics, bringing a little dose of the garden to your daily lives.
A few weeks back Saul escaped from Devon to finally see Lucy up in Essex - and so they took a long weekend Essex Road-trip to visit some local gardens, of which the highlight was the garden at Ulting Wick owned by plantswoman Philippa Burrough. In this second part of our visit we take a look at the cottage garden, white garden and some of the beautiful herbaceous planting, Lucy salivates over the Kitchen Garden and we have a chat to Ulting Wick's Head Gardener Lou Nicholls.
