Megan (@borderlinebarrister) was first diagnosed with BPD while in law school.
She discusses her experiences with mental health throughout her life, including struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. Megan discusses her journey of living with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and the impact it has had on her relationships, including with her parents and her partner.
Megan shares her decision to be open about her diagnosis and create the Instagram account BorderlineBarrister to raise awareness around professionals living with this diagnosis and provide support for others with BPD. She highlights the need for positive role models and representation in the BPD community.
Of note, Megan is part of the DBT Skills series - so be sure to check those episodes out to learn more about how she uses skills in her day to day life!
