Self-Management is regulating our emotions so we don’t hurt ourselves or other people. Everyone has daily frustrations and anxieties like public speaking or waiting in traffic, but learning new skills to manage these emotions is essential. This episode highlights simple steps we can take to control our emotions and face our fears to become more successful in meeting our goals.

Equity and equality are often used interchangeably but the truth remains that they are not the same, nor should they be compared as equals. Understanding this difference is key to retaining students, meeting their individual needs, and eventually watching them graduate.
