Voices from the Archive: Jodi Jones

In this month's Voices from the Archive, we hear from Jodi Jones about a summertime endeavor. She had been spending her mornings swimming in Watauga Lake with friends when she had an idea. A person could swim the length of the lake. That's a twelve and a half mile swim. This story takes you into the water as Jodi swims around obstacles and toward dry land, one mile at a time.

Voices from the Archive is a monthly segment of StoryTown Radio. It shares stories from people living here, just how they told them. You might think of it like a news report that tells you about all sorts of things.
