Mothering Your Inner Little Girl

What I love about coaching is when my clients let out their inner little girl and we can share all of the fear and thoughts they have so that they can release it and transform it into thoughts that will get them the results they desire. Speaking for myself, I know that my inner child gets triggered when she is anxious and when a big change is coming. Even now when I am in the most secure and loving relationship I’ve ever been in, my inner little girl is still freaking out.

Having your inner little girl isn’t a bad thing. I think she is a great little teacher that we need to pay attention to and love her and honor her and hear her. Tell her we’re ok and that we don’t have to react and behave in the ways we did when we were actual children. We are now grown-ass adults and we’ve got this.

What I tell my inner little girl who wants to freak out and not trust that she will be safe: It will fucking suck, but I will be ok.
