In Human Design, the spleen is an energy center that’s activated when something triggers your fight-or-flight response. As you can imagine, the spleen was a super-important center of awareness in the caveman days when life-or-death scenarios popped up regularly.
Today, the fight-or-flight response is no longer our primary energetic focus - but the spleen is still a POTENT source of shadow fears that keep us from pursuing our dreams.

My daughter Freya and I recently re-watched the Disney movie Encanto. While the movie is full of amazing songs, ‘We Don't Talk About Bruno’ is a stand-out - and it inspired this week’s POWERFUL episode of Soul Guide Radio!
If you haven’t seen Encanto (and you should!), it’s about a girl named Mirabel whose family lives in a magical house. The house has blessed each child born there - except for Mirabel - with a special spiritual gift. Mirabel’s uncle Bruno received the gift of precognition... and is shunned by the family for his psychic visions.
