Dark Fairies and Evil Gnomes
SkeleTales
11/09/22 • 55 min
After listening to this episode, you may begin to deeply question your lawn ornament choices.
We all have those little annoyances in our lives, well Britt's here to tell you that we have grandma to thank for those..or perhaps it's the fairies.
Britt tells a story of a grandmother whose fairy circle was destroyed leaving her with cursed cattle and a chip on her shoulder.
She tells us what the hell a fairy circle is and how they're interpreted in different cultures.
Alissa recounts a mystifying tale of a young girl who was given the choice to enter a fairyland. Should she stay or should she go?
Alissa then solves the mystery of Glimmerman by telling a story of glimmering, predator-esk gnomes being spotted.
Britt shares a little insight into several different types of fairies that exist and Alissa horrifies us all with the horrifying truth about gnomes.
Without going into too much detail, it involves blood soaked hats, sharp pointy teeth, and enjoyment in eating your fish and flipping you the bird.
Britt wraps up the episode with a delightful tale of Bat Bear, a Púca (Pooka) fairy cleverly disguised as an imaginary friend.

Demon Rainbow Bunnies
SkeleTales
11/04/22 • 38 min
This episode has it all; starving ghosts, possessed bunnies, time travel, and a near death experience that will have you scared to fly on a plane.
Prepare for shivers up your spine when you hear Becca's write in of her recent experience speaking with the Irish owner of Kell's Irish Pub and his personal encounter with the red headed ghost that lurks in the kitchen searching for food.
Alissa then regales a most enthralling write up from the 1800's of Thomas Beer and his haunted house in Devonshire England.
Britt then veers directions and tells of a couple who cross a bridge only to find themselves back on the other side crossing it for a second time.
Alissa ties up the episode beautifully by retelling a story told to her about a man's near death experience that will have you questioning whether you want to take that next flight.

Warning: By the end of this episode, you will be googling glitter.
This week’s podcast zigs when you think it will zag, pervs when you think it will prude, swoles when you think it will sag and sparkles like something that isn’t quite sparkly.
Alissa immediately tanks the mood of the episode with a real buzzkill of a near death experience. Thankfully, Britt, being the human sunbeam that she is, is able to drag the episode back into the light with a delightful story of a pervy ghost who sexually harasses tenants of a Denton home.
Then, Alissa introduces Britt to Glimmerman, a camouflaging cryptid with a jazzy name. Which, in turn, leads to The Great Glitter Conspiracy, which, will no doubt be the most mind-boggling information you will acquire this week.
Britt ties the episode in a bow with a yarn about a swole bro, a demon and nice relaxing game of Sky Rim.
Happy Halloween Y’all!

How To Date A Ghost
SkeleTales
10/19/22 • 45 min
The episode begins with Britt telling of the strange hauntings happening in her home shortly after a couple of probably haunted dolls made their way into her possession.
After the 100th episode where Alissa and Britt spend the night in the haunted Hotel Andra, everyone is wondering "is it actually haunted?".
We listen to the stories of the hotel valet who tells of the strange happenings he's experienced as well as his strong desire to date the 9th floor flapper girl who roams its hallways.
Alissa then gives some sage advice on how to go about doing that.
We hear the story of the desk clerk who was being cat called while waiting for the elevator when no one was around.
They then recount their own strange experiences that happened while staying on the 9th floor.
Alissa then tells of her very strange, very bizarre, and creepy story that took place at The House of Spirits Soiree that involved her toenail and a creepy baby doll.
Lastly, Britt tops off the night with a story out of nightmares. A ghost child singing in the dead of night and something under the bed that just won't let go.

Time (Zone) Travelers
SkeleTales
09/22/22 • 46 min
Before getting into this week’s episode recap, you are invited to tune into SkeleTales live via zoom at 6PM PST on Saturday, October 1, 2022 for the 100th Episode Skelebration!
Now, onto the matter of this week’s episode where the ladies discuss travelers of time, space, dimensions and zones.
Alissa makes a decades old discovery that proves that residents of her neighborhood have been having close encounters of the third - and possibly threesome kind, for decades. And, speaking of the oldy times, the ladies pontificate on the potentials of time travel after Alissa relays the tale of gentleman who cancels plans after an encounter with his future self. After hearing Alissa’s final yarn involving a girl who mistakes a ghost for a time traveler Britt share some fail-proof tips on how to spot a time-traveler. Alissa also briefly revisits the mystery howls that haunted her evening not long ago and how it may relate to a suspicious number of missing felines in her Pacific North West nook.
Britt cracks open the Crypt of Corrections to shed some light on a shadowy, or rather not no shadowy figure she spoke about in a previous episode. He’s a cowboy ghost looking for love in all the wrong houses, because apparently his lady is haunting in someone else’s house. The ladies also assume that he would also very much like the TV to be tuned to Little Haunted House On The Praire or Boonanza for the duration of eternity. Britt then delights and entices Alissa to go on a camping adventure with friend of the podcast Dawn after she tells her of some strange and unusual phenomena that occur near the fun to say, but scary to visit town of Kapowsin, Washington. From the cursed town of Clay City to the two stroke ghosts and guttural growls that haunt the woods near Camp 1, this may be one of the eeriest parts of the PNW and would make the perfect destination for those of you who love camping, but hate sleeping.

SkeleTales Roulette
SkeleTales
09/14/22 • 57 min
This episode of SkeleTales entails a spooky game of chance as Britt picks her stories based on the roll of the dice - or should we say die? A Near Death Experience (NDE), a musical mystery ghost and a close encounter of with either the paranormal, extraterrestrial or marijuana kind on Block Island, Rhode Island are just some of the tales lady luck hand picked for you this week.
As luck would have it Alissa also had an extraterrestrial card up her sleeve and enlightens Britt on the existence of the Golden Record floating through space at this very moment. She also dips her toe into an alternate dimension to bring you Glitches In the Matrix in the form of duplicating dishes and a paw prints from a parallel universe. And finally, a submission sent into the SkeleTales Hotbox from friend of the podcast ThenDriver delivers a double dose of mystery and mayhem.
Diseased rats, cursed coins and rickshaw races also somehow make their way into this wildcard of an episode.

Graveyard Plot Twist
SkeleTales
09/08/22 • 52 min
In this week’s episode the ladies unearth haunting tales of ghostly graveyards. Inspired by a spontaneous visit to the Black Diamond Cemetary, which is largely regarded as the most haunted graveyard in Washington State, Alissa digs into its history, mystery and lore.
Britt excavates a tale from 18th century Ireland involving a woman, a ring, grave diggers and a plot twist that no one sees coming. The ladies linger on the topic of burial jewelry goals for a bit while Alissa shares the tale of a bracelet that won’t stay buried.
Romantic graveyard getaways also emerge as a theme as the ladies share their personal experiences and Britt tells the tale of a couple who get busted necking graveside by the ghost patrol. She also relays the experience of a patrolman who stumbles upon a ghostly near a freshly dug grave.
By the end of the episode Alissa realizes she is probably haunted as shit after Britt reminds her that she neglected all of post graveyard visit protocol; not unlike the the protagonist of her last story who unwittingly brought a ghost named Annie home after she failed to hold her breath while driving by a cemetary.

Not So Imaginary Shadows
SkeleTales
08/31/22 • 42 min
Beware, by the end of this episode you may have a 90s one hit wonder stuck in your head. Please address all complaints to Britt. But perhaps the soothing voices of an 90s boy band will be just the thing you need to counteract the terror this week’s tales will evoke.
Britt kicks off the episode with a story of spooky slumber involving shadow people, sleep paralysis or possibly an interdimensional being. And, of course, a darling toddler named Penelope Gerard. She also shares a chilling tale of ghostly grandfather who has apparently never heard of ghost boundaries as well a heart warming tale of loved ones appearing to a hospice patient.
Alissa shares a tale of a not-so-imaginary friend named Rice who disappears for many years only to reemerge at a pivotal point in a family’s life and a story sent in by friend of the podcast, Lori who details an unusual entity she encountered in her kitchen.

In this very special Thanksgiving episode Alissa will blow your mind with some historical revelations about the grim scene the Pilgrims encountered when they disembarked the Mayflower while Britt harvested some stories about turds in honor of her favorite holiday, Brown Friday.
But before all the talk of Turkey Day and Turds, Britt reveals that she is getting closer to identifying the entity that is haunting her new home in Portand. Hint: he wears a hat. She also reads a heartwarming tale of last words sent in by friend of the podcast Dawn of Dawn Frost Cosplays
Just when you've finally reassembled the pieces of your mindblown skull from Alissa’s historical facts she fills you with terror and dread with tales of the Pilgrim Ghosts of Plymouth’s Burial Hill. Witch curses, disinterred bones, a wax museum, and haunted hotel; Plymouth is haunted as flock.
Britt then prepares us all for Brown Friday with stories of poor souls who are scared shitless - literally! Per tradition, she recounts one of these tales in a British accent that may horrify you more than the story itself.
As always, thank you for listening and we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and a Shitty Brown Friday!
