1-2 Beyond Borders, Beyond Bias: Embracing DEI Through Strategic Global Talent Mobility
09/19/23 • 30 min
Join Jon Johnson and Emma Dodwell-Groves in this week's episode on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
DEI is a topic that's near and dear to many of our hearts. It is increasingly recognized as both a business and potentially an ethical imperative. Earlier this year, we developed a white paper detailing a roadmap for those who would like to utilize mobility more strategically to enhance understanding and practice of DEI in their organizations, and a “gold standard” for how relocation can foster diverse, inclusive talent in meaningful ways.
In this podcast, we will be looking at the many different ways where talent mobility is entwined with DEI, the growing importance of DEI in today's globalized world as well as the various challenges organizations encounter in the process of launching an internal DEI program.
Jon Johnson is currently the Vice President in the Sirva Account Management function, Jon currently leads a diverse client portfolio across Europe and Asian headquartered organisations and has more than 20 years of experience in global talent mobility.
Emma Dodwell-Groves is a Consultant on the Sirva Global Advisory Services team and has over 15 years of experience supporting clients in talent development, global mobility, and cultural training, with a more recent specialisation in consulting on diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) and environmental sustainability.
Sirva Soundbites provides the insights, tools and best practices to help talent mobility and human resources professionals navigate through the evolving global talent mobility landscape more confidently and effectively.
