I was working out on multiple assailant strategies. While I was sucking
wind and recovering, Lynn took the time to tell me that Episode 27,
"Talk on Qi gave her a lot to think about".
Jean told posted that she had "attended our Harmonizing Sex Drive
Workshop and it was the perfect reminder of taking care of yourself
first and the rest will follow."

* Couple of edit issues in last episode because I wanted to make sure it
got out on time.. Why did I put it out anyway?
My Top Priority is to be as consistent as possible, just like in
practice. Some may be better than others. The effort is to provide
quality information first, (practice with good intent), be consistent as
possible, then performance..
Reid went to see Bruce in Charlotte, and together they did the Reeling
Silk Tai Chi with the Veterans. Yesterday during the Free Monday
Meditation Class at 11:30, we did a meditation on 'Creating Room for
Your Thoughts'. Reid feels that it will be great for the Veterans, so I
will record some bumpers and edit for them. Will send it to you Reid and
Bruce, probably through dropbox.
I exchanged a few emails with Cameron and I asked if I could share the
essay with you. I hope you find it as worthwhile as I did.

Defining Qi or Chi : TKF 027
Anniversaries:
SiHing Bruce has been with me 8 years and Dwight has been with me 10,
this month. Wow, time moves quick. They are both good men and use their
kungfu and chikung to improve their health, wellbeing, and to understand
how to use it.
HopGar:
Mr. Knox and I spent time finishing the 2nd Long Form of Hop Gar. I go
through all the details.
Excerpts:
I pull some audio from the Bagua Pushhands workshop and share that. If
you haven't seen it, you can go to Youtube
: http://youtu.be/AbY8noCXkBU
Qi ( 氣 ) is a word that carries many
meanings. All trying to capture it's essence in english and there is
really not one. The character itself is derived from rice in pot with
steam rising from it.
Perspectives of Chi
There are many forms of Qi. (Chi, Ki, Prana most say theoretically same
thing) I define Qi :
Using the character meaning to demonstrate how complex cooking rice can
be if you want to make it complicated, or how simple.
Energetic View (Energy)
Physiological View (Life Force)
Biomechanical View (Effeciency)
Giving three various way how to see it. Eventually you will see they all
the same. :)

Accumulating Qi : Martial Art Energy : TKF 29
Feeling Good:
Several people of various styles have contacted me to let me know that taking some of the concepts is helping them re-look at their karate, judo and other systems.
Connections:

How do we ‘accumulate’ Qi? What do we do to validate process and/or progress?
In Episode 27, we discussed the perspectives of defining Qi.
Using Those Definitions, How do we generate improvements in Qi?
Definitions:
- Original Character : Rice Pot sitting on fire, steam rising, lid on the pot opening and closing.
- Life Force : Tangible compliments Intangible, Yin and Yang
- Biologically
- Biomechanically
