Being the first woman to join the Indian Police Service as an officer, she has indeed been a trailblazing police officer and also a fearless reformer. Additionally, she has also served as LT. Governor of Puducherry and is the founder of Navjyoti India Foundation and India Vision Foundation.In this podcast Dr. Kiran Bedi highlights the urgency of accelerating gender equality. Being at forefront in this space, she agrees to have witnessed humongous acceleration toward creating a gender equitable society, but acknowledges, that there is still a long way to go.
