Serenitypoetry
Loon plays the role of Earth-Diver in some Native American tribes The Loon is a solitary bird of the wilderness that symbolizes tranquility, serenity and the reawakening of old hopes, wishes and dreams. Whatever name you call him by in any language. The call of the loon is a trademark of our lakes, in northwestern Ontario the loon's voice can be heard echoing across the water on warm summer evenings, and his haunting wail as he calls to his family, listening to his song, I can see why he was the inspiration for the Native American people’s flutes long ago. Welcome on in, to this poetry driven podcast, which was created by me Debbielynne Howson A poet for many years, short story writer, nurse and hobbyfarmer. I take my experience from life, nature, loss and the daily struggle with depression and anxiety. My goal with these short poetry pods is to provide a calm place to explore the beauty and creativity in nature and the written word, with soothing music and historical literature, folklore, with inspirational content about following your own path towards joy. A Spark once lit burns bright in your soul
