Glenn Keys founded Aspen Medical in 2003. Operating across multiple continents, including Australia, Indo-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, USA, Europe, and the UK, Aspen Medical has achieved significant international reach. In 2017, Glenn received recognition as the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year runner-up and was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his philanthropic leadership in the business sector and his work as an advocate for people with an intellectual disability. The Foreign Ministry appointed Glenn as the Chairman of the Board for the Australia ASEAN Council in 2017.

Emma has three decades of experience in journalism and spent time covering stories across Australia, Asia and the UK. She is currently based out of Singapore as the Australian Financial Review’s Southeast Asia Correspondent. At the Financial Review, Emma has reported on economics, health, technology, national politics and geopolitical issues. Emma also spent two years in an editorial role at the Sydney-based think tank, the Lowy Institute.

As an experienced international trade, investment and geopolitical analyst, Jon provides analysis and advice for businesses seeking to understand how geopolitical risks and opportunities impact their operations and ambitions.
Jon has had a varied 20-year career, including roles in Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa, and Europe. He worked for 10 years as a Melbourne-based trade policy consultant, advising most of Australia’s largest export industries, and representing their interests in Canberra and at international cooperation fora.

Susannah Patton is the Director of the Southeast Asia Program at the Lowy Institute. Her research on Southeast Asia is focused on strategic alignment dynamics and the roles of external powers, including the United States, China and Australia. Before joining the Lowy Institute, Susannah was a Research Fellow at the United States Studies Centre and worked in various Southeast Asia-focused positions in the Australian government.

Penny Burtt has experience in business, government, and non-profit sectors. She has held leadership positions in global companies, such as Stripe, Visa Inc and McKinsey & Company, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. Penny served as the CEO of Asialink, a prominent centre for Asia engagement at the University of Melbourne. With a background as a senior diplomat, she represented Australia in Asia and the United Nations. Penny has been involved in various business associations and nonprofits, including the US-ASEAN Business Council.
