Schulering HUB Talking Hospitality Podcast

The Talking Hospitality podcast by Schulering Hub continues the conversation with Adam Mogelonsky, from hotel Mogel, a strategic advisor for independent hotels specializing in technology deployments, revenue optimization, and operational improvements. Based in Toronto, Canada, Mogelonsky is most active throughout North America, although he has recently expanded his focus to the Caribbean and Europe, particularly in wellness and how hotels can benefit from the Longevity Revolution.

In this last episode Adam talks about value of NFT for hotels. A purchase of an NFT can give the owner exclusive access to upgrades, discounts on pool cabanas, private lounges, access to a hotel in the Metaverse, and private shuttles to and from the airport, among other things. This creates next-generation loyalty programs with NFTs, which offer a more effective alternative to current loyalty programs that use points and involve middle management in redemption.

Ep13.3 Adam Mogelonsky | Wellness and the future of hospitality for an aging population (Part 3)

The Talking Hospitality podcast by Schulering Hub continues the talk with Adam Mogelonsky, from hotel Mogel, a strategic advisor for independent hotels specializing in technology deployments, revenue optimization, and operational improvements. Based in Toronto, Canada, Mogelonsky is most active throughout North America, although he has recently expanded his focus to the Caribbean and Europe, particularly in wellness and how hotels can benefit from the Longevity Revolution.

On this Episode Adam is talking about the term "loyalty escape velocity" that describes the exponential increase in customer lifetime value as people age and live longer due to medical advancements. Brands that endear themselves to these customers can benefit from longer loyalty and reduced marketing costs. For hoteliers, this means incorporating wellness perks into their offerings that cater to guests' needs for better sleep and healthier eating, even if they're on a tight budget. Starting small and offering choices like dairy-free, gluten-free, plant-based, or raw food options can help hotels attract and retain health-conscious guests. However, measuring the success of these initiatives can be challenging. While the opportunities for wellness are plentiful, they can also be overwhelming. Therefore, it is essential to choose the right initiatives that fit the hotel's brand and its guests' preferences. By doing so, hotels can stay competitive and relevant in the growing wellness and longevity markets.
