We have a trouble case this week with our 5 patients today all being connected to a suspicious explosion in an apartment complex. The most concerning of all being a little baby boy who will not stop crying. Alex saves the day with his very keen sense of smell, though we do not believe he OR Cali should have been responsible for this case today.
Christina is confronted with the ghost of her lover past. Well, to be more accurate, the mother of her ex lover. That's right, Mama Bourke is back. Snatching eyebrows and slinging truths. She accuses Derek of being an Honourable Man, but we all know he is just there for the S&M. Izzie and George are just there for the uncomfortably close conversations.

Is everyone just a dummy in love?
How will we last until season without all the answers.

The truth about ageism is... it doesn't age well. Kind of like that joke.
This week we meet an extra special intern Norman. Alex is not pleased but he does respect his elders. Bailey on the otherhand knows when interns need to be put in their place. Bailey doesn't want to be involved in any of your personal drama. But she will help the Greys to at least see eye to eye.
Webber and Sloan aren't too old to learn a new tongue trick or two. Derek thinks they are boys, cowboys. Christina can spy something is going on between Derek and Mare and without a waffle maker to bargin for she has only one way to get the truth.
