Islam is a dominant global worldview, second only to Christianity. We encounter Muslim friends and colleagues across all walks of life and many of our Muslim friends know quite a lot about the essentials of Christianity. Muslims claim to honour Isa, who they say is Jesus, for who he truly is, a prophet of Allah. They claim that he made a bird out of clay, talked when infant and escaped death, according to Muhammad, and ascended straight to heaven. Muhammad also makes other historical claims. But do we have good reasons to believe these claims?
