Our Michif Word of the Day comes from a Northern Michif word for ‘game’ or ‘sport’. The word is mîtawêwin [mee-tah-wee-win]. You could say, “hockey is my favourite mîtawêwin”, or “mîtawêwin is something that brings us all together.”
