INTERVIEW! Signe Baumane is an Indie Animator/Filmmaker from Latvia and based right here in New York City who has a brand new project called "My Love Affair With Marriage." Her Kickstarter campaign ends this Friday, February 24th at 10:01am ET and we discussed the process of getting an independent animated film made, Kickstarter campaigns, using art to express emotions and philosophy, and making films from a woman's perspective. If you remember, we talked about "Rocks In My Pockets" in episode 45 and, spoiler alert, we loved it! So it was great to get a chance to talk with her and her partner Sturgis Warner about her career and future.
