Parkinson’s Products and Advocacy with APDA, SteadiSpoon, Comfort Linen, Rebloom Center

This episode is a continuation of our April 11th episode focused on products and advocacy for Parkinson's disease in honor of Parkinson’s Awareness Month and Parkinson’s Day.
Desiree Mearns discussed the American Parkinson's Disease Association's (APDA) efforts, including a live well symposium in Boca Raton. Raleigh Dewan introduced SteadySpoon, a mechanical utensil stabilizer with 95% efficacy, and the June app for tracking tremors. Nancy McGovern highlighted Comfort Linen, which reduces friction in bed, improving mobility and sleep. Melanie Lomaglio DPT shared details about the Rebloom Center, offering specialized Parkinson's care and exercise classes. The discussion emphasized the need for diverse products and community support to enhance quality of life for Parkinson's patients.
