It's Cold Outside!, The First Vaccine You Ever Gave, Come Closer

Deep breaths, everyone. We're definitely in the thick of it right now. Covid vaccines, boosters, flu shots, and new additional boosters/age range extensions on the horizon. I feel the heaviness too so, trust me, you're NOT alone. This week on the show - my million dollar idea to make patients nicer, discussing national pharmacy week (yay?), and me being way too excited that it's getting cold outside. Also, remember the feeling of giving your first vaccine? Scary, right? Yeah, me too. Finally, some patients come to the pharmacy and stand too far away. Why do they do this?? Let's talk about it. Another day, another procrastination week for yours truly. I'm actually excited for how much we were able to cover on the show considering I was racing against time having to head into work. But you guys brought the heat AGAIN this week, as usual. We get into a jabber vs. shooter response (apparently, it's a thing??), techs as pharmacy managers, Pfizer approved for ages 5-11 *insert scream sound*, and a PHARMACIST OF THE WEEK. This actually coincides with potentially one of the worst patient interactions I've heard on the show, btw. It's sure to get your BP and HR rising, if you're like me. Enjoy, friends!
