Nov & I talk about the inspiration behind some of his lyrics, creative alchemy—how he turns his experiences into art, how he stays motivated, the people he surrounds him with, using affirmations in his music, trusting the process, & allowing time for rest.
I almost named this episode “Let Go & Let God” because that was a major takeaway from this episode.

My favorite things about Nov are that he is a genuinely good dude who puts a lot of intention into his music & raps about things that are inspiring, uplifting, heartfelt, authentic, & real. Nov is the real deal & I’m really excited to shine light on all the magic that he’s creating in the world!

Matt is a multi-media producer who does pretty much everything to make shit happen behind the scenes with artists like Odd Squad Family & The Kaleidoscope Kid. I’m really excited to shine some light on the man who is usually behind the camera!
We talk a lot about how Matt got involved in music, the unconventional path he has taken including dropping out of high school & never going to college, learning from the greats, & so much other helpful information for creatives (which is all of us!).
Matt is usually pretty quiet, so it was really fun to witness him open up in this way! I’m so grateful for all of the help he has given me on my journey with Rekallabrate, including helping me build my first website, figure out how to work iMovie, getting this podcast started, & so much more. I’m constantly in awe of his work ethic, attitude, & the way he gets shit done!

We also discuss love, of course. We talk about how Shelby & Rich met, how Shelby had been manifesting Rich, their love story, Rich’s divorce, how they keep the love alive, & some other relationship tips & advice. I also share some insights that I’ve been learning in my own love portal!
