Education in New York City will forever be a hot topic. This season we're exploring various school options offered to New York City kids by sitting down with adults who have first hand experiences with them. Our guests will range from parents, teachers, and administrators.

📚 In this episode, we chat with Hope Kidd, a mom with 5 of her children currently in a NYC Public School. Hope shares her experiences candidly and touches on how it's been for her and her family of 7 since they've moved here 6 years ago. NYC Public School district is the largest school district in the United States with over 1 Million children in the system.

🏫 In this episode, we had the privilege of talking with Devyn Humphrey about NYC Independent Schools; otherwise known as Private Schools in other cities. Devyn has lived in New York City for well over a decade and is a proud mom to two elementary aged kids who currently attend an independent school. She does a really good job sharing how she ended up choosing this type of school since she herself grew up going to public school.

This conversation is an interesting one because Devyns job at the time gave her access to many types of schools.
