Parenting with Awareness and Adjustments to Raise the Littles Consciously and Calmly with Jackie Hall

Tantrums. Back chat. Sleepless nights. Constantly wondering if your kids are ACTUALLY deaf because they never seem to hear a word you say... Aahhhhh parenting, don't you just love it?! In the tough moments our kids can make us question the very essence of ourselves. We so often think our child's behaviour reflects our inherent value, forming a direct connection between how they act with who we are as a person. This leads to constant stress, worry, anger, frustration and even sadness.
But what if we looked at all these behaviours through a different lens... one that told us that their behaviour is just a form of communication? Albeit an annoying one! This form of communication tells us needs are not being met, and this lens helps up seperate our story from that of our child's so that instead of defending and justifying our reactions, we approach their cry for help cool, calm and collected. Jackie Hall from the Parental Stress Centre joins us to share some of her experience of early Motherhood... feelings of overwhelm and absolute failure that propelled her into a career helping other parents leave the shame, guilt and fear behind to embrace the experience of raising the littles!
