
Story of Forgiveness and Healing After Being Kidnapped as a Child with Lauren Burn

Lauren Burns was kidnapped at the age of seven by her Jordanian father and taken to Jordan. Her mother, Cathy, hired ex-military experts who traveled to Jordan with her mother to bring Lauren safely home. Through a daring rescue mission, they escaped across a secured military border into Israel. Lauren tells us of her healing journey once she was brought back to the US. Through forgiveness and healing, Lauren's story equips the listeners to know Jesus can heal anyone of father wounds. In addition to her amazing story, Lauren had a movie made about her life and is the host of the Redeemed Podcast. Desperate Rescue was released in 1993 starring Mariel Hemingway about the Cathy Mahone story and her successful rescue mission of her daughter in a made-for-television movie. In her Redeemed Podcast, Lauren invites guests who have overcome various challenges in their lives to share their stories. These conversations aim to inspire listeners and provide them with practical advice and tools to navigate their own journeys towards healing and personal growth.

With hearts awakened by the Holy Spirit and minds renewed by the word of God, he believes that authentic revival can transform the church and impact the world in the 21st century. He and his wife, Susan, reside in Grapevine, Texas, from which they carry on a ministry of teaching, preaching, writing, and publishing.
