Punky Power: An Unofficial Punky Brewster Podcast and Together We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast
Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Full House/Fuller House Cast Member Lori Loughlin's Birthday, I'm covering Full House S8E13: The Producer, which aired on January 10, 1995. In this episode Danny feels humiliated and quits when Rebecca is promoted to producer of the show. I really enjoyed this episode as I do all the episodes when I cover them. Danny's behavior towards Becky in this episode was absolutely deplorable. Just because she was made producer of Wake Up San Francisco over him. That promotion should have been offered behind closed doors instead of in front of Danny and Michelle. Joey's dealing with his childhood favorite snack Vanilla Weasels being discontinued, is a sad reminder to myself of all the favorite foods I've liked, that had a temporary shelf life. (R.I.P. Meijer Seafood Cheese Dip,( I still can't believe it's been 9 years since it disappeared). DJ and Stephanie giving up sweets via bet, great idea for those needing something to give up for Lent. I once gave up pop (soda) for Lent, I went 3 months solid (haven't attempted a second time). Jesse the disciplinarian of Nicky and Alex as well as surprise, surprise Danny and Becky (spoiler?) Join me next week in August as I begin my new series Full House Animal Antics, to kick things off we have Full House S2E4: DJ's Very First Horse, which aired on November 4, 1988. In this episode D.J. and Kimmy buy a horse. Jesse strikes out in his attempts to date Rebecca. Have a great week everyone and I'll see you in August! To EMAIL The Podcast GO TO: [email protected]

Full House: S5E20: Driving Miss DJ (A Just For Funzies Episode)

Happy Full House Friday Tanner Fans, (TRIGGER WARNING!!) For the first maybe 10-15 Minutes of The Podcast Episode, you will hear occasional pounding or even a saw of some kind due to I was having my new floor put in my kitchen. Just giving you all a heads up. Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I decided to cover what I like to refer to as a Just For Funzies Podcast Episode and basically what that means is it's a random episode that I decided not to cover in one of my series of themed episodes, and that episode is Full House S5E20: Driving Miss DJ, which aired on February 25, 1992. In this episode newly permitted D.J. is eager to get behind the wheel, but she must first go out with a licensed driver, and unfortunately, Danny and Jesse prove to be rigid teachers. Meanwhile, Stephanie delights in torturing an annoying Michelle. I had a lot of fun with this episode, as I always do with the episodes of Full House and Fuller House. This episode in particular brought up memories of my high school summer driver's training days as well as my road test. The mistakes I made, the fun I had during the Summer of 1998 driving around a orange cone filled parking lot with my at the time bestie, the amount of Powerade Mountain Berry Blast I discovered and drank, the fudging of my nighttime driving hours in my driving log and finally to the just barely passing my the skin of my nose (words from my road test instructor) road test in the Spring of 1999. Also in reference to Jesse and Becky's family portrait, I talk about my embarrassing professional family photo taken for the church directory in the late 80's. (I'll post it on the podcast social media.) I gotta give props to Joey on how he handled the Hairy Scary Monster Stephanie/Rita/Michelle Situation. and lastly Danny was being so irrational with DJ, screaming in her ear, talking on trees on the other side of the parking lot, securing car litter bags and checking for stray cattle. Let's get to Jesse's "feel it method" maybe a little too lax is all I'm sayin'. I wish we could have seen her driving with Joey, I bet he would have been a good teacher and we really don't get to many Joey/DJ Scenes going forward in the series. I also ponder what Danny would have been like teaching Stephanie and Michelle to drive also Jesse teaching Nicky and Alex, or how about this Nicky being taught by Jesse and Alex being taught by Becky. Kind of like the scenario from Season 5's Yours' Mine and Ours. Join me next week when I cover the last Full/Fuller House cast member's birthday episode Lori Loughlin (Rebecca/Becky Donaldson-Katsopolis), Full House S8E13: The Producer, which aired on January 10, 1995. In this episode Danny feels humiliated and quits when Rebecca is promoted to producer of the show. To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: [email protected] Have a great weekend everyone!

Full House: S2E4: DJ's Very First Horse (Full House: Animal Antics Series)

Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I decided to cover Full House S2E4: DJ's Very First Horse, which aired on November 4, 1988 for the new Full House Series Animal Antics for August. In this episode D.J. and Kimmy buy a horse. Jesse strikes out in his attempts to date Rebecca. I had a fun time with this episode. In this episode, we have a very irresponsible stable hand who thinks it's totally fine to make business transactions with a twelve year old without parental permission, we also learn about cheese donuts (a cheese slice folded in half with a bite taken out), how CDs according to teens are better than cash, as well as a hairbrush and a unused math book can be used in lieu of $50 to pay for a horse's upkeep. Joey's chili is compared to the aroma of a horse as Danny takes a big whiff of (unbeknownst to him) a horse, as well as how a horse can go through three owners in the course of two weeks. Also a horse can be given more than one name, hense the name Buttercup for the tail that Stephanie owns. a different name for each body part. I'm surprised she didn't ask to own the mane. I go through George Michael's song list and decide the horses in the stable would love his song "Careless Whisper" because of its adult contemporary mello feel and the saxophone. I could totally see the horses shaking their heads in time to the music. Join me next week when I cover the next episode in the Animal Antics Series, Full House S5E18: Too Much Monkey Business, which aired on February 11, 1992. In this episode Danny's zoologist sister pays a visit with her pet chimpanzee. Have a great weekend everyone! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: [email protected]
