Today, I'm wishing Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen a Happy 33rd Birthday and to celebrate I'm covering Full House S5E9: Happy Birthday Babies Part 1, which aired on November 12, 1991. In this episode it's Michelle's 5th birthday and she has a tantrum when she learns her baby book is coming to an end, so the family cheers her up but sharing stories of how she's helped them out or the crazy shenanigans they involved her in. It's basically a complete flashback episode. In this episode I also pull out my baby book and go through it. I really enjoyed sharing it with you. I also mention my memories of my past birthdays at 5 or 6 years old and my first birthday living with my Aunt and Uncle when I was 8. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I'm covering S3E2: Survival Of The Fittest, which aired on September 23, 1984. In this episode Rick learns the lesson of what it means to be a small fish in a big pond, and no longer the king of junior high, after he gets shoved into a locker. First days of school are tough, especially high school. It’s funny how things flip flop for Rick and Freddy as Freddy has the best day and Rick learns what it means to not be popular and is also picked on by the sophomores. I talk about a time in 6th grade where a classmate of mine asked me to shut him in his locker. I said no way, though someone closed the door on him and the janitor had to be called to get the kid out. Join me next week when I cover the two parter S3E5&E6 Growing Pains Parts 1 and 2, which aired on September 30, 1984 and October 7, 1984. In Part 1 Edward sets up a curfew that Rick ignores and then in Part 2 Rick runs away from home thinking Edward no longer trusts him. Have a great weekend!
