Redefining success as a Projector - Setting massive goals without the burnout

Projector Magic Human Design for Business

I’ve wanted to talk about this subject for a long time.

Success.

I want to redefine what success looks like because when you remove societal expectations, it appears completely different for every one of us.

Traditional ideas of success include the big shiny office, the large team of employees, being published in well-renowned publications, and jet-setting around the world. Probably someone in a suit, right?

Over the past year, we’ve had a complete shake up of how we measure our success. But trust me, you still need to work through your own expectations and reflect on what it really means for you because you may end up in a place you didn’t intend to be.

I have lived that life. I was jet-setting every 3 weeks in my previous business, but I was so busy running around that I didn’t even have time to visit the beach when I ran a swimwear company!

What is your goal right now?

Often I hear: “I want to grow my business” and “I want to make more sales”.

But what is your WHY behind those answers?

Is it someone else's idea of success? Or is it truly yours?

You don’t have to grow bigger, have an office, or hire heaps of staff to be successful.

As an introvert, I prefer to work from home.

Why are we congratulating people when they get an office and not when they move it back home? Running a business leaner is actually a smarter decision.

I’m so happy to say that I’ve never earned more money in my life, but I’ve also never had better health, more opportunities to catch up with friends and family, or had more time to do the things that enhance my life.

All you need to run a million-dollar business is your laptop and yourself.

The rest is up to you. What does success look like for YOU?

Benefits to Rest and Managing Your Energy as a Human Design Projector

Is your business serving your life or is your life serving your business?

Are your days full of thinking just one more thing, just one more thing, and then before you know it the day has gone?

In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you a personal story about how I had to learn to slow down, rest, and then focus on building a business that lights me up.

A year ago I went to a retreat where I was able to have some down time without any phone service or wifi and I learnt something really important - I didn’t know how to not be productive.

When faced with trying to relax, I learnt that I’m so uncomfortable doing nothing. I was running my swimwear brand, my coaching, my membership, and my podcast. My mind was going a mile a minute and I didn’t know how to stop.

Giving myself the time to be still and reset was the most important thing I learnt from the retreat. My skin even cleared up. All this time my body was in overdrive and I didn’t even realise it.

I started to think, how can I build a business around my life?

As a result of this journey, I learnt to build up the systems and processes that allowed me to have the life I wanted outside of work and to prevent burn out. I was then able to build a business that lights me up and that I really really love running.

You need to decide what you want from your life.

I want you to remember, your to do list will never be done, but one day your life will be.

What do Kris Jenner, Gary Vee & Kanye West all have in common? It’s not just fame and fortune - they are all Human Design Projectors.

In this fun episode, I showcase these 3 famous Projectors and how they have mastered success by not watering themselves down. I share some of the key lessons we can learn from their lives and what can happen when we unapologetically step into our power as they all have.

Love them or hate them, Projectors have a penetrating aura that can be quite polarising. But it’s only when we are comfortable with being seen, knowing that we’re not going to be for everyone, that we can start to magnetise the right people and step into huge levels of success.

Projectors aren’t necessarily here to do the work themselves but to guide others into success by seeing them in a deep way. By doing so, we create our own success. A projector’s greatest joy is to share wisdom with others in a way that will be deeply received.

I hope you get a lot out of this episode as we explore some of the lessons from these incredibly smart and successful people. If you’re ready to step into your power, let’s do it together in Projector Magic.
