Prizefighters, Circus Freaks & Gangsters
The 19th Century - Way more interesting than you throught...
It's episode 2, and frankly, things look good on the HBO Show:
Warrior
There's a sense of looking around, and getting to know the place. But don't worry, there are still a few fights. Just like the actors, they are incredibly good looking!
Why were people so viscious in the 19th century? Partly, I dunno, partly insecurity. But also partly, they really were sure they were right. All of them. All the time. That could make for a mess.

We are back! Ready to watch the HBO Show:
Warrior
We are going to go all the way back to season 1 and walk you through this fight by fight, with a few stops along the way to drool over the food, have some opinions about the clothes, and unpack why the characters actions make Perfect Sense in the 19th century context.
What the heck was going on at this point in time in America anyway.
Let's Gooooooooo!

Eight Sided Fight - Warrior S1E3

There are a lot of fighters to choose from on the HBO show
Warrior

More of a sneak up and get them when they least suspect you - Barkley for sure
For those white knight types - it's all Ah Sahm all day
Ruthless Smarts, but still know how to make friends and have fun? - Ah Toy
Do what it takes, becasue you want to climb as high as you can? Mai Ling is your woman
Still finding your way, but sure you'll make it big? Young Jun is your fighter
Have more of a misery thing to your make up? Don't worry, you haven't been forgotten. Bill O'Hara is there for those who love to feel put-upon
And the dark horse warrior? The one we may not see as a fighter just yet - Penny Blak. DOn't count her out either.
