Our Washington Capitals are finally back to playing hockey....but not at a level to brag about. We are also back to our regular podcast format for the time being to cover the latest doings.

The team appears to be rapidly approaching another crossroads tot he season. Without much urgency they are in danger of missing the playoffs. At the time of the recording they came off a very disappointing effort against one of the League's worst teams. There is very little we have to say that could be considered positive. You have been warned.....

We discuss the Caps lone game against the Columbus Blue Jackets before the All Star break. We also discuss the All Star festivities themselves.

It was a brutal week for Our Capitals including a disappointing loss at the Stadium Series game last night. Anna and I and our special guest Dwain Thomas go over all three games during the week.

Dwain is a Black hockey fan who shares his experiences growing up in the area and falling in love with hockey through friends and family. As with all fans of the Washington Capitals we welcome his unique perspective on the team and on the athletic experience in general.
