Artist Bio -
LiL BiLL Swavey & Dezzy-D came together as individual artists in the beginning with LiL BiLL Swavey reigning in from Houston Texas and Dezzy-D holding it in Opelousas, Louisiana. The duo started together at the age of 16 each as freshman at Opelouas High School. It went from talent shows to bigger shows around the city and soon around the state.
LiL BiLL Swavey & Dezzy-D each have their fair share of solo mixtape projects already displayed to the world such as LiL BiLL Swavey's "Bill of Writes" mixtape to Dezzy-D's "Fans Ova All" mixtape, then LiL BiLL Swavey's "Nostalgia EP" to Dezzy-D's "The Orphanage" & "No Denying Me (Hosted By DJ Ya Boy Earl)" mixtapes. Now with their debut and most recent collaboration project "It Ain't Dat Easy (Hosted By DJ Ya Boy Earl)" mixtape being available right now for download on LiveMixtapes tallying over 11K+ views, this was their most successful project yet. They started racking in major numbers together doing remixes and covers on YouTube with one of their major covers to Big Sean & Kanye West's "Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay" totaling up to 60K+ views. They've skyrocketed to the top of the city of Opelousas, Louisiana as major lyricists and songwriters with many faces looking up to them, both young and older.

Welcome to another episode of PoPolitickin. In this edition, we politick with New Orleans rapper DeeDay.
Artist Bio
Rapper, writer and producer DeeDay (aka Danny Rogers) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 1, 1989. DeeDay grew up on the West Side of New Orleans with his older sister and parents. He saw poverty, drug deals and crime in his neighborhood but DeeDay was determined to choose a different path. As he entered his teen years, DeeDay used writing and rapping as an escape. He says, “Music takes me to another place.” He began engaging in rap battles and realized that he could hold the attention of large groups with his words. As he began to see the power of his words and rapping as a career, DeeDay released in New Orleans many street tapes before releasing four mix-tapes to the music community outside of New Orleans. The last two mix tapes were cosigned by DJ Don Cannon, a prominent Grammy Award nominated hip-hop record producer and DJ.
DeeDay has performed and appeared in more than 100 cities including Houston, New York and Miami. DeeDay’s passion is evident as he performs with a raw, relentless drive living every word. A pivotal moment in his life occurred in 2015, when his road manager was shot and killed. DeeDay immediately penned some lyrics and says it reminded him that, “Your life can change in an instant and you must live every moment to the fullest.” See his video tribute on YouTube Long Live Stunna.
DeeDay has been featured in Complex Magazine, Thisis50.com, Hip Hop Weekly, Hot 97s That’sNuff and Power 106 in Los Angeles with Mando Fresko. His collaborations with other artists include: DMX, Juicy J, MGK, Nipsey Hussle, Kevin Gates, Bun B and Cam’ron. His video and song “Hanging On” has been aired on MTV www.mtv.com/videos/dee-day. DeeDay was featured and performed on Rock T’s Stomp Wars in 2014. This led to a demand for him to address and perform for high school students and spread his positive message of always doing the right thing to reach your goals. DeeDay’s social media presence has grown organically.

Darien "Holleywood" Holley started out as an Artist from Washington DC, to becoming a well known Songwriter/Producer in the DMV Area. The Producer/Songwriter produced and distributed his very first project" Speakers and Sneakers" through Swagg Gang Ent restablished as THE INFINITE , a brand management firm founded by Holleywood. His talent had soon been recognized by numerous of Heavy Hitters including AWARD WINNING (DEF JAM) MUSIC PRODUCER Walter "Skyz Muzik" Brown whi Credits include: Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj, French Montana, Keri Hilson . Skyz offered Holleywood his first internship in NYC . After tutelage in the craft , Holleywood went onto own and manage Two Studios in the DMV . Life lessons were soon learned by the failure of endless business ventures, which led Holleywood to relocate to Atlanta GA , where he caught the eye of Grand Hustle A&R Consultant Bruce Billingy , also moving on to work with DJ Scream (MMG) and A1 White ( SIdewalk Executives).
The Artistically Inclined Musician`s creativity has enabled him to work on records featuring Major and Indie artist such Chi Ali , Jadakiss, Vado , Raheem Devaughn, Mysonne , Fat Trel , Asap Mob , Rolls Royce RIzzy ,Kingpen Slim , and many more
