Preaching Advice and Youth Camp Stories

Hershall, today got rather serious and it happened rather fast. Gen Z Boy, Brooks came in talking about a sermon he heard recently that was dated and the topic had lost some relevance and that spurred (cowboy sounding word) a long conversation that was more ministerial advice than anything (and I know for a fact that we aren't authorized to give out that kind of advice). We finally finished that segment and I played a song as I do sometimes that interfered with a new segment we had planned called "Artist Spotlight." I played the very top song that Deacon Dustin had picked for the segment that wasn't to be done til late in the episode. It was all unplanned (I know that is a complete surprise to you)! We had some feedback from a few different places, one of which was from our Patrons on Patreon. We were requested to do a rich man poor man segment and we also were asked to share some funny youth camp memories... Enjoy!

T-Shirt Witnessing and the Collywobbles
Hershall, we had to deal with a bunch of things during the recording process. For instance, the Deacon had some technical difficulties with his headphones. when that happened I paused the show and forgot to push record again and it costed us about six minutes of the most underwhelming content that we'll never get back. We followed that with some wonderful discussion about how Christians witnessed in the 80s and 90s with some great T-shirt material. Then we had a colossal (big word for big) fight erupt on air between the youngsters (big word for young folk). The Songleader and Gen Z Boy were in a word tussle over prayer requests. We had a couple of commercials today and some feedback, and as always, Brooks struggled to read. We ended with a wonderful tune by the mighty Cats. (oh yeah and Randy showed by up via Choo Choo train) This gave some of us a case of the Collywobbles... Enjoy!

Hersh, it was an appanage (big word for special favor) to have you on today's program via the dialing/answering device. We got to discuss the events of the last Youth Camp week that left us all parched. We lacked a constant water supply which caused a great deal of struggle. All of the bragging we did last week, we had to apologize for... We did discuss some very relevant topics including: day service board member attire (big word for clothes), Hair-netted Maintenance Men, Lone Wuf's, Brad's Large Abdomen (big words for big belly). In the end, I had to include a joke that was sanitized and the boys kept pushing the line with it staying that way.... We finished up with a "Watcha Listenin To?" segment. Enjoy!
