I loved the way this show started. The quick clip, the quick introduction, and then face first into the interview. That was 100% awesome, and well done. You then asked your guest 1 question (what did you do before podcasting) and he gave you his life story. The answer is "I was trying to be a professional drummer. Then he gave you his life getting into podcast, but you didn't ask him for that. Then later he gets into how he updated his twitter profile. Does knowing he changes his twitter profile really help me as a creative? I know your quest and I'm sure he brought value (as I like Aaron) but I kind of feel like you let your guest run away with the interview. With that said, the podcast rodeo show is a different listening experience for me. I'm not listening like a normal listener. I'm listening to every little detail, pacing, audio quality, etc and I believe this makes me more critical than when I'm "just listening for fun." So this show started great, and if I was "just listening" and note reviewing I probably wouldn't have noticed that your guest gave a very long answer to your opening question. You did try to pull him back to your creative audience on question two and that was good. For only having a few episodes under your belt, I thought this was good, and I may actually listen to the rest of this episode as I'm your target audience.

Not a bad show. You talk like I know who you are and I know you are an actor. There are many of us who haven't heard about your background. It took me a second to connect the dots. The part at the front of the show is a little bit of "how the sausage gets made" and most of us don't care, but I realize that you're trying to get people to send in their stories (that may be a tough sell, and be careful what you wish for). I gave this show a "Meh." There wasn't anything that turned me off, but there was nothing that really came out and grabbed me. I was interested to hear how you solved the sleeping issue, but I wouldn't say I was sucked in. Would I listen to the rest? Maybe, but I'm not like "Don't hit stop on that, I'm listening to it!"Get A Full Review

The intro could be shortened up (LORA of vroom vroom). I like that you streaked through introducing your co-hosts and went straight to the guest, but I would've at least let them say their names or "hi." Then you went right to your guest and just said tonight we have (name of guest). You might want to give more credentials as to why you asked him on the show. Let your audience know why they should care he is on the show. This you can't control, but his audio was distracting to me, and I found myself more focused on how he sounded then what he was saying. You and your c0hosts sounded great (which only makes your guests sound worse). I'm very happy that you didn't start off the show with an apology for the audio quality (as that is a horrible first impression). I would just redo the intro, tidy up your transition to the guest, and keep on going. You obviously love the sport and have a passion.
