Dorothy Toran is The Executive In Charge of Production and one of the Executive Producers of Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey. RHONJ is produced by Sirens Media, a division of ITV America. In this role, Dorothy is part of the executive team that oversees creative execution and logistical production of this long running, popular female ensemble docu-series franchise. Prior to this position, Dorothy served as Executive In Charge of Production at True Entertainment, a division of Endemol.
Dorothy has built measured success at a wide variety of networks, including The Discovery Channel, TV One, MTV Networks, and Essence Communications.
She excels at running television programming from a business perspective. Dorothy keenly understands how to work strategically for maximum efficiency, and reaches set goals at an optimum level. Her core strengths seamlessly integrate production and creative, to allow for compelling content creation.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Dorothy is passionately committed to an initiative that is deeply personal. As The National Ambassador for The Lupus Foundation of America, Dorothy leads an aggressive fundraising effort for stem cell research, known as The Color Me Happy campaign. Dorothy is honored to humbly serve in this capacity, in remembrance of her younger sister Weade Williams Bridges, who passed away suddenly to lupus in 2016.
Besides her career and philanthropic endeavors, Dorothy is very proud of her Liberian American heritage, and finds the most joy in the role of being a wife and mother of two daughters.
