Prudence Pitter is a business executive with 26+ years of broad Human Resource leadership expertise across several industries. Currently she is Global Head of HR for two Amazon Web Services business units. In addition to her HR and consulting experience she served as Adjunct Professor of HRM and Organizational Behavior & Leadership for the City University of NY, for 9+ years. She enjoys writing about HR trends, delivering presentations which align human resources to business, as well as leading workshops on leadership capabilities and employee experience. She is currently a Board Member for the Women Mentoring Network, and volunteers her time to help junior HR professionals learn the skills needed to succeed in their career. Prudence also assists multiple single mothers prepare for back-to-school each school year. Her passion is delivering leadership development presentations to HR and business leaders while also inspiring these leaders to align people practices to business priorities while keeping the employee experience as a key focus at all times. She holds BS & MBA degrees, and the two highest HR Certifications; GPHR and SPHR.
