We are joined today by Speaker, Presenter, Performance Coach, TEDx Speaker, and Endurance Athlete, Luke Tyburski to talk about what he went through and how it made him mentally and physically strong after losing football. He also shares how he uses that same experience to help his clients overcome their own struggles with his coaching.

A former professional footballer, Luke Tyburski now takes on some of the world’s most extreme ultra-endurance challenges. Luke created and completed a world first 2000km in 12 days Ultimate Triathlon from Morocco to Monaco, with an award-winning documentary made about this inspirational feat.

Constantly looking to challenge himself, Luke has run through the Sahara desert, down Mt Everest, and across a tropical forest in China without food, money, water, and with a plane to catch. He has undertaken mountainous double Ironman triathlons, taking him 35 non-stop hours to finish, and completed multiple 150-mile ultra-marathons and 250-mile non-stop bike rides, to name just a few of his accomplishments.

Luke Tyburski’s entire life has been about performance, overcoming obstacles while dealing with setbacks to achieve his daily best. With over 15 years of experience in the health, fitness, & sports performance industries, Luke has not only been an athlete himself but coached many to achieve their physical performance goals as well.

Luke has translated his unique experiences as an extreme-endurance athlete, former professional footballer, and overcoming his dark personal battle with depression, binge eating, and suicidal tendencies into informative, engaging, and highly entertaining presentations. A published author of Chasing Extreme, Luke has shared his inspirational story to audiences around the globe alongside the mental framework he has created to be one of the world’s leading endurance athletes.

Luke Tyburski wants to inspire others to live outside their comfort zone, so they can catch a glimpse of their true potential.

Shawn Wells, MPH, LDN, RD, CISSN, FISSN, is a product formulator and expert in the fields of performance nutrition, longevity, fitness, and supplementation. He earned his master’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he studied nutritional biochemistry with a minor in exercise science. Shawn is a Registered Dietitian with a decade of experience as a Chief Clinical Dietitian in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. He is also a Certified Sports Nutritionist and has worked with celebrity clients and professional athletes.

On the road to being dubbed “The World’s Greatest Formulator”, Biohacktivitst, and Keto Authority, Shawn faced and overcame significant obstacles with his own health—weight issues, depression, autoimmune conditions (Epstein-Barr, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), two cervical discs replacements, and a pituitary adenoma, which is a type of brain tumor. They say everything happens for a reason, and in Shawn’s case, his health problems led him down a winding path that required him to find science-based solutions, and they sparked his personal passion for biohacking.

In the supplement industry, Shawn has held the titles of Director of Research and Development for Dymatize Nutrition® and Chief Scientific Officer for BioTrust Nutrition®. In addition to these appointments, Shawn is a co-founder of the popular patented ingredients TeaCrine® and Dynamine®, which are featured or used in over 300 products worldwide. He also has worked on patents on exogenous ketones, glucose tolerance agents, and more as the founding partner of the World’s Greatest Ingredients, LLC, alongside a team of PhDs and scientists.
