Each year in the Quad Cities, Iowa/Illinois there is an event held on the Mississippi River called “Floatzilla” which sees more than 1,000 paddlers. The event is hosted by the organization “River Action” which, hosts a variety of other events in the Quad Cities. Chairperson, Kathy Wine, talks about details of the event, what’s new for this year’s Floatzilla, how and when the event started, and how to sign up.
