John Cuk appears frequently as a collaborate artist with both singers and instrumentalists.
Active in musical theater and opera, he has held positions with Utopia Opera, New York, Music in the Alps International Festival, Austria, Opera Estate, Rome Italy, Dell' Arte Opera, New York, Buck Hill/Skytop Festival, Pennsylvania and as musical director for countless musical theater productions both at the high school and college level.
Guest conducting includes Ridgefield Symphony (CT), Chorus and Orchestra of Teatrului Național de Operă și Balet ‘Oleg Danovski’ Constanța Romania, Orchestra Sinfonica di Bacau, Romania in Italy, Moldova Radio Symphony in Chisinau Moldova, National Chorale's Annual Messiah-Sing-In at Avery Fisher Hall.
Recently retired from teaching, John’s career in academia spanned 40 years. He has conducted choirs and orchestras at the high school level, most recently at Scarsdale High School and the college level as the Director of Choirs at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
He continues to work as a coach and pianist. Recent engagements: “NIN11 Festival”, Hartford Opera Theatre, “Women’s Composer Wednesday”, “Aperitivi: A Virtual Concert Series” and An “Afternoon of Chamber Music” with the Lotus Music Collective in Ridgefield , CT. John is on staff as a pianist for The Bronx Opera.

Em documents her own journey in her newly published book, Lessons from a Clown. The book offers five lessons for a roadmap towards a happier and better life that redefines the meaning of success. Em hopes that the book will inspire readers to “be themselves, have more courage and laugh everyday.”

Em is the only person to have delivered a TEDx talk dressed as a banana. She also hosts the Clowning Around podcast, a top 30 podcast in the UK.
