Welcoming visitors and local patrons since 1926, the Kumback Cafe is regarded as an authentic Perry institution. Dig into homestyle dishes like fluffy omelettes and pancakes for breakfast, or chicken fried steak and roast beef sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Kumback Cafe is also known for its delicious selection of homemade pies. Perry, Oklahoma was born of the 1893 land run, which opened the Cherokee Strip for settlement. At noon on September 16, 1893, the sound of a pistol signaled the beginning of the great race to stake a claim and take title to 160 acres of virgin land. The town of Perry sprang up in a single day with 40,000 residents of the tent city by nightfall.

These determined settlers created a community on the plains that still thrives today. Immerse yourself in the exciting history of the land run at the Cherokee Strip Museum & Rose Hill School in Perry, or brush up on local wrestling legends with a trip to the Perry Wrestling Monument Park. Be sure to stick around to enjoy the local flavor at family-owned restaurants with a long history of satisfied diners, or spend the day relaxing at Perry Lake.

Nātv Farm to Table Restaurant - Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Thanks for always pudding up with our food puns.

Today we are discussing The Nātv restaurant in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Nātv was founded from the dream of Executive Chef Jacque Siegfried, whom since she was little girl always wanted to start a Native American restaurant. Jacque, being of Shawnee decent, decided it was finally time to bring a Native American restaurant to the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area after she left The Tulsa Club Hotel/Chamber Restaurant's Executive Chef position. Nātv is focused on showcasing not only Native American Dishes with a modernized take, but also native to Oklahoma ingredients, utilizing locally grown ingredients sourced from local farms and tribes.

Broken Arrow is a city located in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Oklahoma, primarily in Tulsa County, with a portion in western Wagoner County. It is the largest suburb of Tulsa, and the fourth-largest city in the state.
