Life after divorce. "I never really knew who I was"
04/30/24 • 62 min
In todays episode, I speak with listener, Charlotte.
Charlotte got in touch with me to tell me that she had found peace and happiness after divorce from her 25 year marriage in which she had made numerous compromises, for her husband.
We discuss Charlottes marriage and how she went along with certain aspects without question through fear of being perceived as "high maintenance".
We discuss her feelings on finding out that her husband had moved on to another relationship and how she dealt with those feelings. We discuss Charlottes experiences on dating apps and how she ended up in a relationship whereby she was being gaslighted and how she ended that situation.
We discuss divorce when children are involved and how it is better for children to be in an environment without the toxicity of a bad relationship and how divorce is not a sign of failure, its just the end of a relationship which worked for a period of time.
Charlotte speaks of her journey to happiness and fulfilment and how she would not let another man into her life unless they are going to add value to the life she now loves and much more!

Single and childfree girls in Nice!
Just a short episode as I have been away on a mini break with a friend to the South of France and Monaco!
A short round up of ... well, all the drinks we consumed and our experience of sitting on the beach, watching parents dealing with their children as well as screaming children on the plane and at train stations. It was an eye opener as non-parents to watch the parents around us, being parents!
If you are single and childfree... embrace every moment ;)
