Returning home for two huge games versus the Panthers
06/12/24 โข 76 min

The Edmonton Oilers trip down to Sunrise, Florida, couldn't have gone worse. In Game 1 they played well but couldn't beat Sergei Bobrovsky, who stopped all 32 shots he faced. Then in Game 2, there was a glimmer of hope when Mattias Ekholm scored to give the Oilers the lead. However, the belief fell apart after the Panthers scored four unanswered goals to seal the win.
Now, the Oilers head back home down 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Final. The last team to be down 2-0 in a Stanley Cup Final and win was the 2011 Boston Bruins. Can the Oilers now find their inner Bruin?
After a long travel day yesterday, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin are back for a new edition of Oilersnation Everyday. They'll go live at noon across the Oilersnation social media channels; however, if you want to interact with them on the show you need to be in Charm Diamond Centre YouTube live chat. Tyler and Liam strongly encourage you to leave your questions, comments and concerns in the live chat throughout the program.
Once they've looked back at Game 2, they'll look ahead and bring some positivity to the show. Game 3 goes down tomorrow night at Rogers Place which will be the first Stanley Cup Final game in Edmonton since 2006. What do the Oilers need to change to beat Florida? What happens if Darnell Nurse isn't healthy to play? Should the Oilers make more lineup changes and maybe bring in Sam Gagner?
Tyler and Liam will look at all of that and more on Oilersnation Everyday live at noon.

Getting ready for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final didnโt go in favour of the Edmonton Oilers. Sergei Bobrovksy saved the day for the Florida Panthers stopping all 32 shots he faced.
Heading into tonightโs game in Sunrise, Florida, head coach Kris Knoblauch has made a couple of lineup changes. The major one is that Cody Ceci will sit, for the first time this postseason, and will be replaced by Vincent Desharnais. Evander Kane didnโt skate this morning but confirmed that heโll play tonight. With that, either Warren Foegele and Sam Carrick will come out of the lineup.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will go live for Oilersnation Everyday at noon on the Oilersnation YouTube channel. Theyโll get you all set for Game 2 tonight discussing the lineup changes, keys to victory and game notes. Since today is a game day, Jay Downton joins the guys for a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday.
Want your thoughts on the show? Leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. Tyler and Liam strongly encourage to get involved with the show.
Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will join the show right off the jump and his appearances are presented by Horse Racing Alberta. With Frank, theyโll discuss the decision to scratch Ceci along with how the Oilers can beat Sergei Bobrovsky.
You can expect all of that and more on Oilersnation Everyday.

The Stanley Cup Final is back in Edmonton
The Stanley Cup Final has made its way back to Edmonton for the first time since 2006. Unfortunately, the Oilers are in a hole after dropping both games down in Sunrise, Florida. In Game 1, Sergei Bobrovsky stole the show stopping all 32 shots he faced for a 3-0 victory. Then in Game 2, the Oilers offence shrivelled up with Mattias Ekholm getting the only goal.
Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will join the guys right of the show for his appearance, which is brought to you by Horse Racing Alberta. Frank will give his thoughts ahead of Game 3 and what needs to change for the Oilers to have success. Additionally, he released an updated trade targets list which has Darnell Nurse at #24. Frank will address that and more on his appearance.
Finally, former Edmonton Oiler and Florida Panther, Jason Demers joins the show live from Rogers Place. They'll get Jason's thoughts on the opening two games and what has gone wrong for Edmonton. Also, they'll talk to him about what he expects Rogers Place to be like tonight.
