Tragedy to Triumph, Portia Louder Shares about Spending 4.5 Years in Federal Prison... Recorded 6/16/2021
09/01/22 • 58 min
In this episode I am talking to Portia Louder about her story and how it led her to being sentenced to 4.5 years in federal prison. Portia and I crossed paths after she reached out to me after hearing or seeing a guest appearance that I did on a podcast called "Louder Now". We had a phone conversation, set up a date to record and I had to cancel because I went back to work. Another cool fact about something we both share. Both of us have been to The Other Side Academy to tell our stories.

Here is a little bit about Portia from her:
*
Portia Louder, built a photography company that photographed 200 weddings a year in Utah, and surrounding states. She became involved in real estate in 2004 and was investigated and indicted for mortgage fraud. Portia was sentenced to a 7 year prison sentence, and served 4.5 years in federal prison, in California, and Minnesota.
*
She has documented much of that experience on her blog and Facebook page. She addresses addiction, loneliness, self awareness, and what it takes to move past mistakes and setbacks in life. Portia developed a love and sisterhood with the women she met in prison, and just finished writing a book highlighting many of their stories.
*
Portia has been married to her husband Chad for 24 years; they have 5 children and one grandchild and live in Highland Utah. She currently works at a treatment center helping women work through trauma, and overcoming addiction.
*
*
What bottom or life struggle would you like to share with our audience? * Taking full ownership brought power back into my life to look forward, set goals, and dream again. Accountability is freedom for me. Every struggle had the seeds of transformation. It's up to me to decide how my story ends and I want an amazing ending!

Sam Tripoli (Tin Foil Hat Podcast), Truthzilla, & Debra Gets Red Pilled...Recorded 4/11/21
I am currently running through the livestreams I did and haven't put the audio out as an episode yet. I have a folder of almost 30 to run through. I'll add the date recorded to the title like I did in this one. So you will at least know what time period we are talking about if we mention any current events. This recording has been up on my YouTube channel since the day I recorded it. I'm just adding it to my podcast library.
I was going to add all of the links to these shows but 2 of them are no longer recording. Sam Tripoli is still rockin it! Just look his name up and you can find all the places he is at. Some socials got cancelled so any links I had from then might not be good now. So my bad....I have some great conversations to get out still even if some of them are from 3 years ago.
I created a poll over on Spotify and the question is...Do you want to hear the unpublished older content that I have? So if you want to answer that yes or no question head over to this episode on Spotify.

Thanks for listening! If you have any comments feel free to leave me a voice message on my Anchor podcast page and tell me what's on your mind. If I like what you have to say I will play it on an episode of the show. All of the links for the show and social media are there as well in the link below.

Dr. Dave Bettenhausen & Carla Bogni-Kidd 3x Authors Talk About Spirituality & Reincarnation... Recorded 4/19/2021
BIO:
*
Dr. Dave Bettenhausen serves part-time, as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at a small midwestern hospital presently. He retired last year after twenty-five years as a physician and ten previous years as a cardiac nurse. Carla Bogni-Kidd retired last year after forty years of office managing for Dave and his predecessor.
*
Dave and Carla have been the best of friends since 1998 when Dave purchased the medical practice where Carla was the office manager. Together, they have been on a spiritual journey since beginning meditation in 2014. They have written three books with one more releasing in 2021. The first, “The Gift of Past Lives with Mother, Isabella, God & Elizabeth” is the story of how they learned they have lived 29 past lives together.
*
Their second book, Hell No, Reincarnation? is their reconciliation of their upbringing in Catholicism and other religions with what they now learned and believe about reincarnation. The Manual explores just how God creates us and how that relates to our Angels, Spirit Guides, astrology, traits and archetypes.
Dave and Carla have taught meditation at their local University as well at their Senior Center and services organizations. They trained with Dr. and Mrs. Brian Weiss at The Omega Institute in Past Life Regression after writing their first two books to learn more about regression therapy.
*
Their common goal is to share the message with the world that if you follow five simple rules which are to live without conceit, jealousy, selfishness, and unforgiveness and do everything in love, you can liberate yourself from the wheel of karma and reincarnation, returning home with God, Source, Tao, Creator. The answer is always LOVE.
