My guest on the podcast this week is screenwriter, author, and showrunner Rasheed Newson. Rasheed and his writing and producing partner T. J. Brady have worked on The Chi and Narcos among other drama series, and currently serve as the showrunners for the hit series Bel-Air on Peacock which reimagines the classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a drama. Rasheed and I talk about his upbringing in Indiana, the first time he held a boy's hand, finding himself while attending Georgetown University and the journey to his current role as showrunner on the hit series Bel-Air on Peacock!
