Ethical Travel w/ Linda Iriza
Linda Iriza is a Rwandan currently based in Boorloo (Perth). Her work centers on African youth and continues to create community projects that bring them together physically and digitally. She does this through collectives like Soul Alphabet, where they support young Black and Brown creatives through events, art exhibitions, workshops, and various other projects.
Her passion for creating spaces for young Africans goes beyond borders; as she founded Nuru Tours which is an ethical travel project that works to connect the African diaspora to Africa. These tours consist of moments of connections, collaboration, and creation.

State Sanctioned Terrorism w/ Carl Cavalier and D’juan Owens
In this episode, we are in conversation with the truth-teller and "whistleblower", Carl Cavalier, a Black police officer who is currently facing backlash from Lousiana State Police for holding them accountable and exposing their pattern of anti-black violence. Cavalier was raised on the West Bank of New Orleans & grew up in a low-income neighborhood.
As his first publication, Cavalier uses his new book (link for purchase below) “NWB” to offer insights from both sides of the criminal justice system – a unique perspective that is a trailblazer for this type of narrative. Cavalier is a strong advocate for justice and equality, and this book aims to start the difficult conversations. It compels one to act from an informed perspective, a point of knowledge and truth.
